Every day is Thanksgiving, when you think about what could have happened to a friend
Well keep in mind that post-crash Ride Report was given under the influence of morphine: I was out there with the wild buffalo! I can't even remember what I said to Buzz, Wifey, or you. One of my old FBR buddies paid me a visit at the hospital Sat. night and according to him I was warning him not to talk so loud, because there were Russian agents working undercover at the hospital, and the rooms were bugged. We still laugh about that.

And yes indeed, Kevin saved the day. He handled the situation like a true medical professional from the start. Moral of the story: if yer gonna ride like a gazoonie and bust yer ass, at least make sure yer ridin with a firefighter! Here's to forrestrider:

And every day is Thanksgiving, you say? Well that's the quintessential truth, Ruth! I coulda ended up dead, or paralyzed--which I think woulda been even worse than death. The whole ordeal has given me a renewed appreciation for everything. I'm blessed beyond measure, and what's more I'm fully aware of it. Every day is a Gift.

as for you, inept, from what ive heard your level of consciousness was altered, along with a possible head injury - which is a blatant contraindication for narcotics. hate it for ya but when yer really fucked up, they need you to stay how they found ya so you dont get any worse til they get you under an xray/mri/cat to make sure ya arent gettin worse (brain swelling, cephalic hematoma, spinal injury).

what really kills me about emergency medicine is how much the system gets abused regularly by some, who get away with it and never pay the piper, but an average joe eats shit and the medical system (mainly the insurance part of it) shovels another mouthful in after its all said and done.

I hope im still ridin by 75 too, cause hopefully thatll mean im more or less healthy and not in regular need of the "medical/insurance system" - dont even get me started on retirement/nursing homes!!
You got me to thinking so I checked my plan and I am covered for both ground and air ambulance support. Woohoo, now I can ride faster

If that ain't a corn snake I'll eat my hat. But I'm just a Random Dipwad, so take that with a grain of salt.

Buzz would know absolutely 100%, bet-your-life-on-it, for sure.

motard set up

FMB or anyone,
Im looking to set up the 450 as a Motard. Wondering what all I need to buy to make that happen. I have seen some of the kits online but not sure if and what I would need to buy for my model of bike.

I think I will get more use out of the bike with street tires on as my riding options are very limited for off road action.

Ahhhhhh. 3 cars fully detailed, lawn mowed, bone in NY Strips ready for the grill. Life is good.

Thank you very much Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, and Marines (and everyone else) - it has been my life work and pleasure to work beside you all!

The Inept sunset inspection sounds like a great ride to wrap up the long weekend. You go Tony!
