Thumb Yay!!!

A surface Low pressure over the Southeastern Gulf of Mexico is interacting with a large upper level low pressure system over the Northern Gulf...resulting in clusters of showers and thunderstorms from the Northern Bahamas to off the Western Florida Coast. The presence of the upper level low is creating strong winds in the upper levels of the atmosphere...conditions that are not conducive for tropical cyclone development in the Eastern Gulf. The National Hurricane Center is currently forecasting no significant development with a low chance (20%) of the system becoming a tropical cyclone during the next 48 hours. However, it has been noted that the chances of becoming a tropical cyclone is increasing.

The surface trough is forecast to move North Northwestward with chances of rain spreading westward across the coastal waters and Gulf Coastal counties through Friday.

Rain is good. Hurricanes are not. I guess I should move that canoe into the living room--we're 1/4 mile from Escambia Bay and right at sea level.

I've been meaning to ask this for awhile but keep forgetting

If a hurricane does develop this year, would anyone have room for one of my bikes? I would most graciously appreciate it!

Kinda far, but I got room. It's a brand new Tiger Shed. It sits about 150ft above sea level & nowhere near any coast.
