Good job Mike! I was beginning to think that I'd stumped everyone.

First time to CO? Winter is generally quite mild, and the elevation helps when you're out in he sun.

People were looking at me like I was stupid ... and I guess I really can't argue that point.

Happy Birthday Solace!

Nah, about 1 millionth OK, not really, but it is an annual pilgrimage. I am constantly amazed how apparently warm 40 and sunny is when you are having a beer after a hard day's work (er, I mean play)...

Tell ya what, tho, the last few trips out here have been 10 to 20 degrees and snowing like get out. This has been a real sweet trip weather wise, but the snow is starting to get a bit mashed potatoes at the bottom in the afternoon.

Oh what a problem to have.... I'm just jealous. I lived outside of Boulder CO from 95-04.

The requisite shitty night shot. Though mpenner can confirm I was there. Nice meeting you tonight. When you first pulled up, I assumed you were with the FD arriving for an emergency. I was worried you were going to chase me off, or I was going to get run over by various emergency equipment.

Also, were you the car in front of me that turned onto the little road across from the station, or the car that was way behind me when I turned onto Olive Green Rd.?

Porter Kingston Fire Station. Olive Green (though the address is Sunbury since Olive Green doesn't have a post office)

Up next. A lob to the plate for mpenner. It's about 6-7 miles south of the fire station, on the northern "old" road outside of Sunbury.

I was able to search this one out on google maps. The only result that came up though was a previous picture that I took. Clicking the right links will actually get you some GPS coords for it even.
