I'm going to see if I can steal some of the tags in the northeast this weekend.

New Tag!

This interesting old building appears to have started life as a schoolhouse. It can be found between one of the two digit state routes Just GO! mentioned for the previous tag and another three digit state route that runs you through the metropolis of Elba. If you take the first two digits of the state route on which this tag resides and multiply them, you will get the third digit of this three digit state route.

Nice tag, Kurt. I couldn't resist that one. I went by it when I was looking for the General Store and thought it would make a good tag so I went back and took the picture.

Not for this one you wont...

...TAG!

Interesting old building, wouldn't mind knowing it's history.

Located at the intersection of SR339 and Lowell Rd. 'bout halfway between Crooked Tree and Dungannon. This was still about a 45 minute ride for me one way, but I knew exactly where it was because it'd be a swingset tag if I still lived with my parents in the house I grew up in which isn't too far from here.

New tag to follow shortly!

Wicked New Tag

On a road named for wildlife in motion, our new tag consists of wildlife that does not belong. This large fellow doesn't belong in the grassy hills of ohio, yet here he is:

He probably looks familiar... And he should. His brother was Tag #60 and these two are not all that far apart.

He has some friends, and the pond from which he eternally drinks is located right across the road from them.

When riding down the road attempting to find our trunked fellow, you will likely see his friends first. They watch over him and will let you know that you're in the right place.

Our friends are out of their element, located on a road that bridges the road where the prior tag was located to another state route whose two digits sum 11. Many people use this road as a shortcut.

I will tell you all the story of these misplaced statues and how they found themselves here after this tag has been found.

I think the next issue of Weird Ohio will be based on the Ohio Tag-O-Rama thread. Maybe we should band together and just preemptively write the book and spend the proceeds on pie. And tires.

I know that road, dox, and use the shortcut all the time. Damn, I gotta work!

Good tags you guys. I like when the tag game is going strong in my playground. The last few are all on some of my favorite SE Ohio roads.

Brrrrrrrrr....I do believe going out and getting this tag this morning qualifies as a "WTF was I thinking!?"

Now that my brain has defrosted: location of the tag is about 3 tenths of a mile west of SR 339 on Elk Run Road between SR 339 and SR 83.

TAG!

New tag...

This one is easy! The first and last numbers of this three digit state route are the same. If you were a follower of the beast, whose number is only off this state route's number by one digit, you wouldn't be welcome in the town in which this tag resides.
