I knew the threat of possibly having the tag to the NW No Tag Zone would light a fire under one of you guys' ass.

I wondered what became of you, Biff.

Surprised you went for this one, it's pretty flat and uninspiring in that area.

It was a nice morning, and I like 657, and 314. I cut google maps estimated time in half. They say 2 hours, I say 1.

Wow, I wish I had actually paid attention to this thread. I went for a nice ride last night but went the opposite way. I could have snagged the galion one easy.

You posted a reply about getting Bucyrus brats above, first post on the preceeding page. That would indicate some level of attention to the thread and the tag location. WTF, over?

The mothman predicted it...

Tag!

Silver Bridge historical marker at the SR7 rest area in Addison, OH just north Kanauga.

I'm low on file photos and probably won't make it back out tonight... I will post the new tag tomorrow around lunchtime, as long as the official tag umpires don't mind.

Disaster Area

As with the previous tag, this one involves another of Ohio's major disasters. This one has been long forgotten by most people, since it occurred in 1930.

This is the site of Ohio's worst mine disaster. There's not much left here except two small buildings and the smokestack (poking up from the trees in the background of this pic, this smokestack is the actual Tag itself), which were left as a monument to the 82 that died that day.

I was here in the Spring, collecting a file photo, but it didn't turn out. I'm glad I came back, because now the gate is closed, you can't get down into the parking area for the site, and you wouldn't have been able to duplicate my original photo. My headlights are aimed directly at an Ohio Historical Marker that will let you know you've arrived.

Happy Taggin'!
