Honestly, I was surprised I didn't see you on the way there. Also was surprised I didn't get bruced, given how long the tag sat.

Little one is good, he sleeps long enough for me to get a tag every once in a while

_{Not the} New Tag

Got these pictures tonight chasing the previous tag.

Rules are simple for this one.

Get a picture with this officer in this town

Bonus points are given for getting the picture, but not getting a ticket.

Story behind this one:

I was coming into town and missed my turn onto SR-78 north. I saw the LEO sitting about 300 yards ahead. I turned around in a church parking lot to go back to 78. As I was doing so, I thought "I bet I am going to get pulled over because he is going to think that I am turning around because I do not want to ride by him". Sure enough as soon as I get turned around and get about 50 yards down the road, he turns on his lights and pulls me over. He told me I was doing 45 mph in a 35 mph zone. He ran all my info and came back and told me that he was going to give me a warning and that I should slow down. I asked him if I was really speeding or if he pulled me over because I had turned around (maybe a bit cheeky on my part). He said that I was really speeding and that he generally does not mess with motorcyclists. He said that I was only the 2nd bike he had ever pulled over. At that point I asked him if I could get his picture and he said OK (probably really cheeky on my part).

About 2 miles down the road, I had to pull a full panic stop and still only missed the miserable deer by about 6 feet.

This turned into real adventure alright. Needless to say the ride home in the dark was a bit slower than my ride down

Real tag up in the morning.

They all say that. What a load of BS, Mark is the only officer who could say that and I "might" believe him.

I just wrote a guy for having ape hangers on his choppa (handlebars more than 15" above seat is the actual violation).

Mainly, he had ape hangers. I hate, hate, hate them.

But, he also had no endorsement, no helmet, and the plate was registered to a previous bike he owned, not the one he was riding. So I guess he came out of it pretty good with only the equipment ticket; plus he can tell his buddies in the choppa club what assholes the local cops are and they can all scowl a little harder when they pass by. Everyone wins.
