Ok, I had to look this one up, because it seemed a bit harsh. Here is the quote:
(Acts 10:34) "Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons:"
So, from what I read in future passages and in the descriptions I found on the web, it meant to mean that everyone is equal in God's eyes, but it doesnt appear to translate all that well to me.

I might actually read the bible, purely from the standpoint of expanding my horizons (as it doesn't correspond to my belief system), if they weren't all jive talking and shit. What is that, old testament ebonics? Hebronics?

What the fuck was said? "Love the poor because they are faithful; rich guys can be pricks; and don't give respect to specific groups of people based on their social standing"...?

James is new testament. You can get newer translations that aren't in old english.

Yeah, it basically says poor people deserve as much respect as rich people, and don't judge a book by it's cover.
Oh, and rich people wear gay clothes.

I dont want to rub salt in a wound, but you missed out on a great patch of road. It was nice enough that I crept along at about 30mph just looking around. Plus, the guy about 4 doors down from the chapel had a motocross track in his front yard. I could picture a few of the inmates taking an impromptu spin on that.
