Tag (if the image loads).

Edit - OK - so here is a reasonably sized image.

like the pic says. - Rushsylvania

Didn't smell, or see, any pigs. I did see a sign that said "No More Chicken Ranches" or some such thing. Guess they don't like factory farming up that way.

I try to dress in earthen tones from the waist down to conceal the massive bulge in my pants.

Next up -

Bean tagged almost the southwest corner of Ohio. Mr. O got the northwest corner. Well, this one is as far east and south as you can go before you start heading west again. So I'm calling this one the southeast corner of the state.

Some pretty good history here - and 3 historical markers and a monument to read!

Clues are in the pics.

I lived a mile or 2 from a turkey ranch in CO. Holy crap that place stunk when they cleaned them out. They would scrape all the crap out and make a berm of turkey Shit about 200 yard long and about 10ft high and let t dry out I think they then sold it as fertilizer.

Way to far away for my first tag. Took my wife for her first ride today of only 120 mi. and she was not a happy camper by the end.

It takes awhile to build up stamina in the glutes!

Tag

Kinda of an epic ride today, 394 miles of back roads except for about 40 miles of superslab after dark. But I got both the OH tag and the WV tag.

http://www.advrider.com/forums/showp...&postcount=966

Here are a few more pictures of the tag. This is actually a very cool tag. Apparently, all of the surveys for all of the states west of Ohio were based on the original marker that was here at this point. However, I can not think of any reason at all for me to ever return to East Liverpool.

Some more pics.

You can see it was pretty rainy, but it cleared up as soon as I headed south for Roseby's Rock, WV.

New Tag

Here is the new tag.

It is on a 3 digit state route whose digits sum to 19. It is about 2 miles east of the southern end of a large lake that shares its name with a nearby town.

Along with some thunder and lightning as well. It was a pretty strange weather day. It was nice until I hit OH-7 at the state line and headed north, and then it got pretty stormy. Once I got to the tag and turned back south it got nice again. I got into a few places where the road was a bit wet later in the day, but never got rain again.

It turned out to be a pretty nice day overall.

And I wholeheartedly agree. Amazing how depressed the Ohio River valley remains, and sad, too.
