Nice evening for a ride. I caught a few straggler Perseid meteors on my way out there.

Next

Up to Warren Harding's hometown. This train station was basically built because of him. Even before he started to campaign for President, he realized that there were a lot of people coming to Marion. The train station at that time couldn't handle the load so he requested that the city build a new one. Marion was once known as "little Chicago" because this was the largest stop between New York and Chicago.

Should be easy enough, but it's located on a road that's two state routes in one. One is two digits which add up to 14, the other is three digits that add up to 12.

Marion Union Station. If you "google" "Marion Train Station", one of the first links is a description by our very own Mr. 0. Are you a railfan, 0?

Putting it in the city really set of a "tagging spree". So... just in time for you working drones to take your lunch breaks...

Next is this mural also in downtown Columbus. It is near Grant Hospital. For extra credit, tell us what it means to you. I see a woman who is yearning to be loved, but who lets superficial trappings and society's influences dictate who and how she loves. Either that, or two people getting ready to fu-uck!

I am somewhat of a railfan, I guess. It's interesting to me, but it's not something I've really persued in depth. I do stop out to Marion Union Station from time to time though just to see what's going on. There are a few other railfanning places around that I've been meaning to check out, but just never have.

The site that you're likely referencing, Waymarking.com, is another one of several geeky hobbies. The unfortunate thing is that many of my potential tags are places I've already listed on Waymarking. So, for the most part, a little creative searching will get you exact GPS coordinates. That's part of why I've never really tried to make my clues too tricky; there's just no point.

I can't see the pics, but from the description I'm pretty sure I know what this is. I never knew about it until recently when my girlfriend started working at Grant. It's interesting. I don't really get why it's there. I saw that it was a gift or something to the Columbus Academy, and I've always assumed it was Clark Gable or Cary Grant or one of those classic movie scenes. Just can't find any info at the site, or online.

I have always thought that it was very considerate of you to mark your tags on Waymark. I can download the gpx file and load it into my mapping software and from there to my GPS unit.
