Ratios ?, you can twist and turn them to justify anything you want. 200 mile round trip for me. How about you? My statement or observation was based on that you (group) on the east side of the river Rt 271 have a generous head start (40 miles). Kinda makes sense that the tag has been over there for a few days, weather is poor / real crappy but, oh well I would not want to make excuses for anyone for why no one has gone for it. But yesterday was a sweet day.

I like logic vs ratio's. No slam no jabs.

Hey, no busting on the Doc; he's made good attempts at other tags but been bruced. And he's a valid contributor to this thread, keeping it active.

Not his fault he can't ride 200 round trip miles to the tag, I mean, have you seen his bike? That thing has got to be wickedly uncomfortable for long trips.

Ahh, I had forgotten about his brucings... I will give him that. But to start throwing the fickle finger around just because nobody else seems to be playing the game up here, well...

For various reasons I have been unable to play the game myself, I might be able to sneak out in the morning to get it but I will certainly catch hell for doing so. I have to keep my eye on the target and keep my ass busy for another month or so...

Doc, If I was able to go get the tag I certainly wouldn't let a little rain stop me, I am an all weather rider down to about 40 degrees.

The bigger question is, why doesn't anybody else up here play the game anymore.

Perhaps they are glued to the tv watching the browns on their way to a super bowl victory?

I don't understand it, it's such a great game, I'm addicted to it, even if all I can do is follow along.
This is as close as I have gotten to playing tag in quite some time...

See my bike over on the right...
Thanks Zach, that still makes me laugh...

You guys bust my chops! But your question about why there are such a few players is a very good question.

There does seem to be a slighted listing of tags to the south. South of Mansfield. So I could see why interest does drop off. Who like me has the time to drive round trip 200+ miles? Maybe the single guys!

Plus us old farts have to be in bed by 10. So little chance for night tags.
So I just wait for the right opportunity.

Well I used to participate a lot more but between buying a house this year, the girlfriend, and the assload of hours I have to put in for work now it leaves little time to just cruise for tags. I spent most of my time riding this year off road in Ohio and Michigan.

For whatever reason and it seems like it is only Chip and I playing with Blimpman thrown in there occasionally. Just slows down the game quite a bit. Well that and I got bruced pretty bad on a 5 hour ride for a tag the last time I went for one.

Darn, I thought you were in the witness protection program or something since VMD.

What do you want me to say? Buncha northeast Ohio guys constantly whine about being "left out" so I throw you all a couple easy tags and this is what happens ... I broke Ohio Tag-O-Rama! I've been watching for almost a week and no one has gone up to Pierpont to get the tag.

Hey Meef/Dragoon - want me to place one somewhere else? I'll gladly do so to get the game going again.

Hey Chip, get me off the hook and go get the tag. I can't go get my own!

I am on my way in a few minutes...

Don't Bruce me man!

Looks like I may get a little damp... oh well all in good sport...

`tis funny, this is the second time this season I have rescued the tag from the of the NE corner of Ohio.
I feel like some sort of Knight Errant, saving TOR from the abyss of despair.
