No, just the pics on Photobucket.

I only had reflective stickers made for the panniers... are you thinking of McTacticool's custom pannier project? I am thinking pretty hard about selling my Strom, though; just trying to figure out if I really want to go into debt again and / or if I will miss the bike after all the adventures I've had on it.

I wasn't offended, just didn't quite get the second reference. In that manner, I'm too stupid to get offended.

No I was thinking of yours, although McTacticools are very nice too. The angles of the pics you took with new reflectives stickers looked really good, thats why I jealously had to slip the "needs a top box" comment after you posted. I really should have got a similar set like yours or pelicans, love the looks. I bought the Givi's a week after getting my Strom, good price and easy install. I'm all about the instant gratification. What is it with everybody (almost everybody) selling their bikes ? I've seen a number of Stroms on FM (including mine) and I'm feeling the same way you are about yours. I also feel ya on the going into debt thing.

Ah, here I thought you fellers thought the stickers were dweeby. I had McTacticool make me some to go on the sides, too. I like them.

I have had several incarnations of boxes on my bike since I got it... I ordered Givi's from the dealer the same day I bought the bike, but I didn't like them. I then got Pelican boxes and made my own setup, and I liked them, but they were inconvenient since they were always on the bike and the side openings made me insane.

I hated to spend the money, but I finally pulled the trigger on some midpriced (Happy Trails) bags and for this kind of riding, they are the best style. Top opening, so you can really cram shit in them and nothing falls out when you do open them; tough as hell and can be bashed into shape with a rock or are repairable at any welding shop if you really fuck one up; they look bad ass; they come off in about 2 seconds with no tools; they don't have to be locked (I found it annoying to have to use a key to open the Givis every time); they double as camp stools, cutting boards, and tables on a ride; the list I am sure goes on. Plus, the boxes transfer to any bike with only an investment in the specific mounts.

As far as the Strom, most likely, I would give it to Meredith and we would sell hers, since mine is better equipped and still under warranty; though that's totally up in the air. I think I want a Tiger and I've been kind of crunching the numbers to see how it would work.
