It was a bit tricky, I felt a little bad posting it with no clues.

WWVA is a Wheeling station, but they transmit from 12 miles away, near St. Clairsville. Google searches reveal the transmitter location if you look hard enough; best sources were news articles about the three towers coming down during a severe storm, which cite the location.

Don't even need to look hard. Wikipedia says in the first sentence, "WWVA (1170 AM, "NewsRadio 1170") is an American radio station that broadcasts on a frequency of 1170 kHz with studios in Wheeling, West Virginia, and towers formerly located in St. Clairsville, Ohio, before they were destroyed in an August 2010 storm. The station is currently operating with reduced power due to the damage" and lists the transmitter coordinates at 40°06′07″N 80°52′02″W.

Chip your google-fu is slipping.
As mentioned the Wiki page has coordinates in it. With that an Google maps the satellite view easily confirms the location.

Or were you confusing this with the NEO tag game

Nah, I was glossing over the details, should have thought about about a remote transmitter as that is what WRUW does as well though it is only about 2 miles away...

The saint for who this church is named is the same as the first name of the character played by Jason Alexander in "Seinfeld"

He was a person who died for a cause he believed in, and the church name reflects that

In a city that was founded in 1805 on the West and Middle Branches of the Nimishillen Creek
