I finally beat Friar to a bike

We all know how Friar Mike likes to score those Craigslist deals, well, really, don't we all?

I was quicker than everyone on this bike-

Which worked out so well I went back for more.

A couple of YAmmy XT's, and a DT400, with 251 miles on the clock. Too bad it didn't include a piston, apparently the first owner didn't realize that you had to add oil to the injection tank. Anyway, all of this was free! A local gentleman is cleaning out his yard ( a task I need to start on myself) and I gratefully scooped these up.

I may try a bonded title for the DT400, it might be worth restoring. Not too many of those ring dingers arounf these days. Otherwise, this could make for an interesting iceracer. So, anybody know a certified motorcycle appraiser who appraises old dead bikes low?

Well, I wanted to trade straight up but I had to throw in money, a lawn mower and a case of beer. I drive a hard bargain, you know.

Dah.... doesn't take long when you count by fours.

Fite in at 9 cylinders, eight of them still pumping.

At least 32-40 cylinders, 15 or so running, 8 personally mine, at least 8 customers.

My personal 8 cylinders are four at a time, one twin, one triple, running, but not sold or ridden at this time, need title for twin, gonna build a frame for the triple instead of restore. A gs550 E and KZ750 are both inline fours, payin' customers.

Nice score 5! Wish I still had my 78 DT400 and 83 XT550. Brings back great memories. Good luck restoring them to their former glory.

2-VTwins = 4
1-Inline 4 = 4
1-one thumper = 1
2 - Boxers = 4
Total cylinders still a pumpin: 13

CR: Can only count those for which you have title. The way I see it you're still at 8......good luck gentlemen.

I have the title for 12- the customer still hasnt' paid off the GS 550E (I am such a cheater!) - though- to be fair- ya, I currently have 8 running cylinders I consider my own and don't plan on selling unless the price is REALLY right.

1- Inline 4= 4
1 V4, = 4.

The triple is mine, and it wouldn't take a week to get it going again, I think, and I dont' have a buyer for it yet- so

1-Suzuki inline 3- 3-1 demerit for not getting it on the road-

=10 neaner neaner

It looks like Toomer has the winning total,
Mine? I count the first bike as 6 cyls, then the 2 cylinder model, equaling 8 a pumpin!
