In preparation for the Touratech Travel Event 2012 (but there is really no need to prep, I just want to make it sound nice ), me and the usual suspects went on a ride last Sunday. This route was the same as what fellow inmate Ricemann attempted last Dec. See his post below:

A sign said Infanta was 46 kilometers away. I could see the ocean. Unfortunately I had to turn back at that time as I had commitments for the afternoon back in Manila and was running out of time. I'll have to get back up there and ride the rest of that road in the future. Does anyone know the condition of that road going to Infanta? Is it concrete the rest of the way?

No pictures this time as I forgot my camera.

Last Sunday, 4 riders met up at Shell gas station in Jauli Vargas in Pasig City. Me on a V-strom, Rico on his Multistrada 1000DS, Eric and Amboy on thier Multistrada 1200. Our route that day was thru MARILAQUE (MArikina, RIzal, LAguna, QUEzon) passing thru the towns of:

- Pasig City
- Marikina City
- Antipolo City
- Baras, Rizal
- Sampaloc, Tanay
- Laguna
- Quezon

Since it was a Sunday morning, many riders where there too. Here are some pictures that morning.

This is my Vee...

My V-Strom beside Mr. Randy David's ETV1000 Caponord of the HOMBRES Motorcyle Club...

Eric on his Multistrada 1200 arrives and park's beside the Caponord....

THe HOMBRES are ready to move out. They were riding to Taal Conservatory in Batangas...

Rico arrives and we are complete and ready to roll...

Amboy arrives with his 2 day old Multistrada 1200 Sport....

Howdy everyone!! Been lurking this thread for more than a year now but I just recently created an account here in ADV. I am currently based in Quezon City Philippines but I really am from Cervantes Ilocos Sur which is a lovely place somewhere in the mountains of Northern Luzon. Would love to share with you some photos from my bucket list real soon.

Hi Saboteur (Tim)!

Welcome to the Philippine Adventure Rides thread. I am glad you found your way here.
I've passed thru Cervantes-Suyo- Tagudin road before during the time the DPWH were dynamite blasting the area when they were constructing the roads. Very challenging experience indeed!

Nice pictures in the following threads bro:

- Bad roads
- Let's see your bikes
- Bikes 'N' Mountains
- Panoramas. A collection. A collaboration

Looking forward to your picture posting in this thread too.

Thank you for the warm welcome Sir Hercules. Nice to know that you've been to my town in Cervantes. That Tagudin to Cervantes Road is now all concrete. Really nice road if I may say. I just hope that the Tadian to Cervantes road, Tadian to Bauko road, and the infamous longest bridge will be completed soon so that the Cervantes to Sagada route would be a breeze.

For starters, here are some photos from my QC - Vigan - Cervantes - Baguio - QC ride last December...

My ride buddy Xavier
