I have a tool bag mounted on mine from the back edge of the seat and it's about 10" long. Fender is still pretty solid with it on.

So I installed my DT cam tensioner today, and it sounds better by far, but just to be sure ^^ is this good? Waiting for my T-stat bypass kit, rad guards, among other things to come this week so I can do it all at once and only fill the bike up once but I want to make sure my cam chain is good to go.

Sounds good to me...I went with the DJH manual version I find this bike makes more noise then others especially with
a metal skid plate....ride it, love it

5 minutes into the actual install I took a three hour break to fish out the circlip that slipped past the paper towels I stuffed in there to stop exactly that from happening.
This is what it looks like 3 hours later if you are wondering, ![]() It popped right out and stuck in the cam chain rail. Good times! Anyway, it started right up, but my valves are clattering a bunch. It's not right and I can't figure where I went wrong. Is there a good guide that someone has a link to. Appreciate it! Oh yeah, bike feels like it will be a rocket, only done a few heat cycles so far and a ride up the street at medium revs, it wants to rip!

I'm sure this is linked already but here it is again.
http://paochow.com/forum/index.php?topic=40.0 I still can't figure out what I'm doing wrong, seems to be my exact process...

My new "improved" keep the circlip out of the crankcase method, along with a few still stuffed in below this.
