Very nice but that would last me 2.5 quick dismounts or 1.75 rides :(

Just got back from 900+ miles around southern Utah- mostly roads and gravel roads. Bonnie Abbzug's WRr did great!

Bonnie coming up the switchbacks on the Burr Trail:

Yes, I made it. Kydex, slipstreamer windshield hardware and number plate backing vinyl- Worked great! We rode in ALOT of wind, and it made the bike much more comfortable for her.

That is some surreal, beautiful country out there.

About 10 minutes later we got caught by a huge storm. Rode in it to Escalante, then over Boulder mountain the next day (yesterday) to Torrey, through snowy/slushy roads. Poured on us pretty much all the way to Moab.

Hayduke, that's the best looking fairing I've seen on a WRR so far Could you share more details / photos of the fairing and how you attached it to the bike? Any advice on what to do with the kydex? (That is, if you would not mind me trying to copy it. I can guarantee you will not run into me with a copied fairing unless you come and ride in Europe... )

Which slipstreamer HW kit did you use?

I tried the Promoto F5 pegs but went to the pivot pegz instead. If you want the F5 PM me. One thing I did not like was the reduced fold angle on the F5. The pivot deals felt weird at first but I got used to them quickly. Helps me shift with some stiff tech 3 MX boots I wear on single track and rocky rides.

Thanks Bash3r! And by the way, belated thanks for the two excellent quality "Anywhere" T-shirts I ordered from you. I get compliments and questions about the WR250R whenever I wear them.

We're actually a couple weeks late this year for our peak fall color, so it was nice to have it later. We had a lot of rain this summer contributing to great color too. Peak only lasted last Friday and Saturday regrettably. Now we are enjoying some unseasonably warm "Indian Summer" weather in the 70's and I plan to get a few more rides in before the snow starts flying. Believe me, I'm not complaining!

I kept kicking my stock lights and the rubber gromet wore out and it would fall down.

Also added my own Kydex mud flap.. thx to Ramz for the idea..
Looks decent but I'm not modding mine in that area until I break it.
