I'm searching for an entry that I'm pretty sure was in this thread somewhere. There is a link to an exhaust insert for a Husqvarna around 500cc that is used to drop the sound level - the link goes to a dealer site on that part. I've searched using every combination of words that I can think of and come up with nothing. I'm now resorting to rereading all 1500 pages of this thread. If anyone can save me from reading 12+hours I would appreciate it.

thanks

Mobill and I finally got our WR's together to do some riding at DARC 1 (Dirty Adventure Riders Club). 3 WR's in this event.

Great ride yesterday. Got about 100 miles in before storms started brewing to the west. Managed to outrun them home and rolled into the garage just before it started raining. Back road bombing on the WRX... nothing beats it!

Isn't the Ninja redundant now that you have the X?

Loved My DRZ-S. It was a bit tall and rattled my junk to numbness. Sold her and am very happy with the wr250x in so many ways. I will be setting my WR to tour as my DRZ. Will post when done.

I sold the Ninja earlier this spring. Fun little bike, but I liked the X more. Now I'm shopping for another WRX, maybe even a WRR, to setup for a TAT ride.

Good to ride with you yesterday---you really made me feel welcome.

...I'll never get tired of making easy work of what seems to cause other bikes to be susceptible to sudden gusts of gravity.

Thanks again for encouraging me to come up.

Holy hell, the one I'm looking for I saw on your webpage (the one you're running in your TE310)!

Thanks a lot. I'm going to try that insert in my frankenstein GSXR exhaust I've put on my WR. I want Q4 power and less than stock volume. So far I have the power part and it is definitely quieter than the Q4, but I want to be SILENT.

That would be Mobill. The kind of guy you want watching your back.

Pretty cool

http://news.byu.edu/archive11-may-fo...ybrid2011.aspx

Check out this story/video. For those that don't have the eye to pick it out in the video the combustion engine in that thing is none other than our beloved 250. I know because I benefited from a lot of the parts they sold after getting what they needed. They bought a used 08' from a guy in Vegas, pulled the motor, exhaust and a few other things and parted out the rest.
At first look it seems funny that they make it a hybrid and only get in the mid 40's MPG . . .then you hear that the thing can do 0-60 in 3 sec!!!
Pretty neat.
