voltmeter
Inmate Sanjoh sells a $25 voltmeter at www.advmonster.com, , I got & like & looks same.
Thanks for posting 10Cup, I'll be checking it more frequently now. It usually reads in the 13's w/heated gear off. Which part broke?

FMF peg
'08 R w/Q4, no header, peg fits & used often. There is a dimple in the pipe but that's for the welded bracket w/nut. Not sure if the X is the same that way. Enjoy. Funny; I bought mine from someone in Oneonta. Nice trails up there!
[QUOTE=brentde3;17139917... The PO also took off the rear passenger pegs. Anybody know if I can put those back with the FMF? The right side looks pretty cramped. Sure is a hoot to flog this thing on the backroads .[/QUOTE]

I made the bracket myself and the meter above is what I use. The red LED works well in all lighting conditions.

Hey guys, a question:
My bike '08 WRX has plenty of goodies on her. The PO did the full FMF setup (powerbomb header, powercore muffler with "quiet insert", programmer box), along with AIS and EXUP removal. He also did the "water-resistant" airbox mod. The bike runs like stink. Super fun. Also, super loud. At least to my ears. Hypothetically speaking, can one replace the stock muffler without too much adverse effect on the way the bike runs? I know, I'd be sticking a cork in an otherwise opened-up bike. Can the programmer help with it? Should I get bigger earplugs? Something about taking a loud bike on the Trans-lab just seems wrong.

supermoto wheels
is the cheapest way to get supermoto wheels for the WR250R is to buy OEM WR250R hubs rotor, sprocket, rear rotor and then get SM rims and spokes? I would love to have SM wheels with angel pirelli tires and WRR wheels with aggressive dirt tread, I would have 2 bikes basically.

Quieter... but still not quiet. None of the aftermarket exhausts are comparable to the whisper quiet stock exhaust unfortunately. To my ear the pc4 is only a touch louder but better, crisper sounding than the wet muffled q4 exhaust note and isn't terrible under a light cruising throttle.
The cheap foam winchester earplugs from walmart shooting section are the best I've found for the money, $1.99 for the pack and 32db reduction in sound.

Are there any vendors that specialize in WRR parts and accessories? I'm not talking OEM, I'm thinking aftermarket farkels. I'm coming off a DR650....Procycle is such a great source for parts. And a hell of a drain on my wallet. I'm wondering if there is anyone comparable in the WRR world.
