On the '08s the squeal is most likely coming from the stupid rubber damper they put on the sprockets. Mine started to make noise so I cut the rubber off(took some time). No more squeal. New sprockets would work too. but I'm cheap and the originals were still good.

Both of my sprockets are aftermarket, so that's not it.

Does anybody have a stock seat for a WR250R that they would like to sell me? I'm looking for one of the blue/black ones in good condition.

I know a lot of people have switched seats and might have the old one sitting in their garage. PM me if you have one available. Thanks.

There is an '08 in Wilkesboro, NC for $3750 with 4500 miles on it, 144 miles from you, looks all stock right down to the tires and fairly priced given the condition and miles.

ya that's true my Japanese roommate showed me these, he says that WR250R is an very popular bike in Japan so there are a ton of Japanese aftermarket pipes and plastics on this site but there really expensive.
