That looked grim. Thanks for posting a cautionary tale. Hope everything heals well and quickly.

Broken mirror. Bike is tough as a tank.

Ooof-dah, that looked like a bad thumping you took.

Funny thing, I remember making the same grunts when I high-sided the GS one time...

Oh, I was in full gear. Would have been much worse otherwise.

That video lies! The gap looks wider on the video than it is in reality. It is only about 10 feet wide and the edge is no less that 8 feet high. It is also 90 degrees. It was quite a tumble. I did get a chuckle that we looked like a scene from an alien abduction at the end.

It took about 30 seconds to get that first breath of air after having the wind knocked from my lungs. No broken bones, but plenty of internal bruising. Pain is quite intense, and I expect it will last a few days.

The part where I sample the soil is just after the 1-minute mark:

Thanks to the three day weekend and now that I have the KTM for the dedicated woods bike, I decided to clean up the WRR and put on the graphics that I have had for a couple weeks now. The WRR has not been this clean since I brought it home from dealer.

The graphics are not on perfectly, cause they were a pain in the ass to install. BUT, they are good enough for the crap I ride through.

I agree. The camera lens kinda changes the look. I guess it's the wide angle view.

Also, the video looks like we were traveling faster than we probably were. Not that it appears high speed, but I remember thinking that I was going really slow, probably slower than the video seems.

Soloracer is where I got them from, but I got them months ago.

Was is Moab last week on the WR with my friend John on his DRZ.

I can now say that I have been to the "Top of the World" on my WR:

It was pretty warm out there so one day we spent the day up around 9k to 10k feet in the La Sal's to stay cool:
