Hands down, it is the worst piece of shit mirror ever made. I didn't buy it, rather, it was on the bike when I bought it. It felt good to toss it in the trash.

Moose radiator gaurd

Has anyone tried the Moose GYTR Radiator gaurds. Thinking about getting one, but there's no user info that I can find anywhere online, and also am not sure if the picture is the actual product.

I thought the rotor could be used on the WRR, but you would have to use a different bracket for the caliper. Or maybe you just use the caliper setup from the X?????
I'm really not sure, but that sounds better than using the X hub.

Went to buy a Pirelli Scorpion Pro front tire but it lists two sizes. Anyone know the difference? 1) 90/90-21 54R
2) 90/90-21. The first is about $5 more... Thanks!

54R refers to the load index (54) and speed rating (R)


load index "54" is up to 467 lbs
speed rating "R" is up to 106 mph

Looks like the 54r refers to 467lbs of load and a speed rating of 106mph. So what is the rating for the cheaper version? I can't find anything online or on Pirelli's site. If in doubt buy the cheaper tire?

clutch suggestions

Anyone got a recommendation on new clutch plates? Mines starting to feel its age, and I think I want to try to preemptively replace it this winter while the bikes apart. OEM looks to be around $140 plus shipping, and has worked well enough so far. Aftermarket units any better, or just lower priced?

Same question, but front brake pads. I have no complaints about the stock pads, except that the X's pad wore out twice as fast than the R's pads did. Any advantage to aftermarket really, and if so, suggestions?

Just for fun, I had a quick look at my Scorpion Rally, and it is indeed the 54R.... that's probably because I try to keep my speed just a hair under 106mph when I've got the front wheel loaded to 467lbs

Personally, I wouldn't worry about it. If it were a supersport track bike, then maybe, but a WR? That same tire is often used on much heavier bikes, and will see much more abuse that most WR riders will throw at it.
