I like the all white bike.

Just ordered a Seat Concepts low seat. Can't get here soon enough. I don't think I could make the 300 mile ride that I'm taking in a few weeks on the stocker. Hope it lives up to the reviews which all seem to be raving.

That's awesome. I was just watching his video last night and was thinking he could do no wrong. Nice to see him make some of the same mistakes I do on a regular basis.

I agree, but I have a feeling it took him weeks to make the same mistakes we do in a few hours.

He did that stuff on purpose for his training videos to show you what not to do. ;) Still fun to watch though!

Well I bent back the OEM shifter. Surprisingly mild steel, bent with a few raps with a rubber mallet. I filed down those sharp shoulders that do such a nice job of scoring the side cover while it was off.

Decided to keep the stock shifter, since the alloy ones like the Driven seem like they could resist bending at the expense of possibly damaging the shaft. Also the stocker is so easy to bend, I bet it can be bent and straightened quite a few times before it fails.

I bought a cheap stainless steel spatula at the dollar store, so will try making one of cjbiker's case guards.

This was a good opportunity to get up close and personal with the seal guard (chain slider). Looks great, only minor grooving. This with a 12T front.

Did you look at it from the bottom? Lay on your back and look up at it. I had another member tell me his was fine last week only minor grooving, as I looked at it and showed him he was almost thru his swing arm. He had no idea.

yes, the bottom / front, everything looks fine, grooves are <1/3 way through the plastic. I check it often, and have a new seal guard in the garage when needed.

Yeah. It's REALLY hard to see with the stock c/s cover.

Don't know if y'all have one, but Sandman's Freedom Case Saver is one thing I wished I'd done a lot sooner. Very easy to see where you need to see for both sprocket wear and guard wear. Better protection too.

Does anyone know the torque specs for the nut that retains the swingarm pivot bolt?
