Oh, and yes, I really like this rack.

malibu_dan, where did you end up buying this rack? I looked in the TT Store but their store website is so poor it's impossible to locate it via search or browsing. I see it at ProMoto Billet site for full MSRP.

I got mine directly from Pro Moto

Pro Moto Billet

Wheeling Cycle saves you a whopping dollar; so I would suggest checking both to see who gets you the better shipping rate.

My dreams are dashed!

Not that I really need the extra power, but it would be nice to blow off my buddies with KTM690's, rather than just barely keeping up with them.

I find it hard to believe that Yamaha can't get a bike to meet emissions. They can do anything they put their minds to. Case in point, the new 2010 YZ450F. Also, FI makes it a lot easier.

Part of emmissions is sound, maybe that is the problem.

And I'm sure they could make it work but maybe not to a level that they are happy with.

Or it makes for a good excuse and makes people happy that they are "trying."

EDIT- I know the intakes are up front and the exhaust comes out the back a la Cannondale. But how did they get the rooster tail to come over the rider's head too? A reverse rooster tail!

I know, the wind, but I thought it was funny.

It's rainy and grey here....cabin fever.

If you want to call "Photochop" on this pic, I'll back your play, Miami!

You're seeing the future roost that'll soon be where the riders head is dummy. The new YZ is so awesome, it actually sucks time in through its intake.

If you look, the race banners are blowing in the correct direction to be blowing the roost forward though.

Cool shot.

No US regional rep for any Japanese bike manufacturer that I've ever talked to has ever had a clue as to what the factory is developing. They're just not in the loop. The big European bike shows sometimes give a hint of what's coming...

AZ TOM--- At 3.36 your combo is just a teeny, teeny lower than stock 3.31. Do you happen to know what chain length you're running?

DingWeed--- I'm with ChadX, please holler back with more details if you can.

I thought maybe the 14/48 would give a bit more grunt in 6th without increasing vibes or hurting mileage too much. I ride much more street than dirt, but a swap to 13 would get me fairly low for trails. Thanks again and I hope to hear more.

Sometimes expertise is a burden Meaning, since I'm not an expert it's easy for me to decide that I love the setup...and yes 110, that's the number.
