I've got a FuzeBlock on it's way (so a little elf told me) for Christmas. I'll get a review up on WRRDualSport when I get it installed, but it looks amazing on paper. http://fuzeblocks.com/

Did you take advantage of the Fuzeblock group buy in "Vendors"?

I mainly kept the stocker because I thought it would keep road spray and roost off my back, but for the most part thats not the case, so off it goes.
skierd... I can't believe you haven't gotten your 3CS yet.. I ordered mine and got very quickly.. about 7 days all the way from Japan. Jim was always very helpful with me.. thats odd man.. Great products from Eastern though.. very good!

The problem is the shipped me the wrong item (a v-strom adapter of some sort) that was supposed to go to a guy in CA. I've so far heard nothing about where my order actually is.

Skeird, my 3 circuit solution w/ ground only took about a week to get here as well. Wonder if something else is going on, lost in the mail, order confusion, etc.

Edit: YOU BEAT ME

Good to hear that as I'm about to order some Eastern Beaver "stuff"......time to put on the heated grips....after all, temps are dropping below 50 here in San Diego....brrrrrrr

Bashr - what did you decide to order from Eastern Beaver besides the 3 solution harness?

Like most things on the internet, there are three competing theories at this point:
A) Chain too loose -
During accleration slack accumulates on the bottom run of the chain, during decel the slack runs to the top causing the bottom to 'slap' up against the bottom of the swing arm near the front sprocket.

or

B) Chain too tight.

or

C) Small front sprocket.

Personally I support the 'chain too loose' theory because I have the wear and I know that I had been running my chain on the loose side. My gearing is 13/47 so I don't think it's the sprocket.

23 degrees here yesterday morning in balmy Northern California!

I ordered my EB three circuit solution back last summer and it was here
in a couple of days. For some reason though, never got around to installing
it. They make all this neat heated stuff but no portable AC units.

Don't know about doing heated grips just yet but a heated
vest/sleeves/gloves sounds really nice right about now.

Crawbrrrrdaddy.. here's what I got..

3CS All Switched. I could of gotten the 1 unswitched(for gps)/2 switched, but it all worked out since I have a fused GPS circuit, so I'll have a total of 4 circuits off the battery now.

Powerlet Socket (added the extra thick spacer for added room underneath)

Powerlet to SAE/Cig socket for Tank Bag ( for Battery Tender/Slim air pump/iPhone Recharger)

Garmin 60CSx Fused Circuit (from Powerlet.net)

Symtec Grip Heaters w/Rocker switch & no resisstor (ThumperTalk Store)

ProGrip 714 Dual Sport grips (recommended by several inmates, I think I'm really going to like these!!)

So my plan is to somewhere/somehow have a mounting bracket made that will mount to my bar clamp to mount the powerlet and grip heater rocker switch. I have a design I'd like to have made but need to find someone who can cut aluminum for it.

With this I'll have off my 3CS: heated grips, powerlet socket & one circuit available for.. yeah Crawbrrrrdady.. heated gear!

This is part of my winter farkles.....

p.s. I should add.. the photos I took for a HowTo I plan to put together as I install this stuff... hope it works!

Thanks for the ideas.....I like that "Powerlet to SAE/Cig socket".....I'll have to add that to the shopping basket along with the extra thick spacer for the socket (good idea).

I'll probably just buy a mounting plate/bracket from Eastern Beaver....

I just talked to an inmate about my bracket design... woohooo!! I think we'll get'er done!

I think the Powerlet to SAE/Cig adapter will come in handy, you never know what you may need out there.. i've seen several great rigs that run of either of these 3 sockets (Powerlet, SAE or Cig) so I think this will have it covered. I have a cig to USB adapter for recharging camera or iPod/iPhone while on the road... just run it to the tank bag and let it charge..

Followed your lead and ordered a Wolfman Enduro Tank Bag over the weekend.......it'll probably arrive tomorrow......I've never used a tank bag on a "dirt bike" before.......sticking with my Ortlieb saddlebags.....they're pretty wornout from many a trip but they hold a TON of "stuff" and they're water tight....
