Double thumbs up for Skierd Congrates, at least now you know how to farkle like a pro

I'm chuckling at all of you installing vw's case guard. Mine is in that first shipment too, but even though I'm in the country just next door, I know mine won't arrive for a couple of weeks. Ivan's package could be a terrorist threat, or even contraband.

Reminds me of a story about Willy Nelson crossing the US/Can border. Border guard asked if they were carrying any contraband. Willy, apparently, said 'Hell yes, we are a country band.'

Ivan, if you're thinking about making the aluminum heel guard in WRX black you might consider anodizing instead of powder coating. Probably costs about the same and it doesn't get any more permanent than that.

Has anyone tried the Rox elite anti vibe risers on our bike? Are they too tall? I ordered some the 2" but dmulk was telling me he thinks thats going to be too much. Need to know if I should try to return them or install them

To much height that is. I have stock bars and was just going to run them till I bend em then go to a fatbar

You'll be fine. I have a 2" riser on mine. The Rox pivots forward to give you what you need. mbabc also has a set. Non vibe ones.

Other than that, everything appears to be well made and plenty strong, which of course is why I bought them. Oh yeah, they also included plastic caps for the stock mirrors holes, which I thought was a nice touch..
I'm interested in these guards and a Scotts Damper. I'm trying to figure out the best way to order everything. Highway Dirtbikes sells a Scotts submount but it looks like the only way to oder a submount/damper from Scotts is with the bar clamps. If i go with the Highway Dirtbikes setup all I think I would need os just the damper and the post. Does anyone have any ideas here?

I sent an email to HDB to see if they can shed some light but I thought I would ask here.

Thanks

Got the case saver in the mail yesterday!

Also a set of new rockstompa footpegs and a new shifter lever.
Installation will hopefully be tomorrow depending on the weather
around here. It's been raining solid for almost a week and I've been
without electricity at home for over 24 hours.

No lights = no garage time in the evenings.

Next on the list of to-dos is the suspension. I'm planning on pulling
the forks and shock this Sunday and sending them down to Javier
at TrailTricks early next week.

You also rode my KLR that same day (the one I sold to fund a WR purchase after riding Pax's). Why didn't you save up for on of them?

Welcome to the fold

it would be really integrated is HD could work with a sterring stabilzer company like gpr to intergrate that under their new unit.

highwaydirtbikes....

Looking over their site, have lots of evolutionary parts. Bash3r, what size is that top clamp you installed, thinking that may be my next part. Do you have fat bars or just standard 7/8"? Like the clean look of that top clamp.

It kinda looks like the shape of the HDB clamp may be the same as the Scotts clamp. I'm hoping I can find out for sure.
