Thanks bro. I appreciate it. I have a four gallon Acerbis black tank that is gonna go on the bike. I also have a white SM front fender going on there...so I am gonna go with a white/black theme, getting rid of yellow, and did not wanna replace the side panels if i did not need to. It will be nice to clean them up.

As you know, I had decided to get a used DRZ, for now, in lieu of getting a new WRR this year. BUT, I'd still like to make my way down to you, if the offer still stands to test drive the WRR. I know you had your last one stolen, and this is a new one. It would be a great comparison switching from one to the other. Not to mention getting off this southern NJ sand and ride some real dirt once in a while.

installed new bars today

While the weather was sunny and somewhat warm, 34F, I took the bike apart and installed ProTaper SE CR high bars, symtec grips, ran the zeta flashers wiring, and started the install of 3cs. Noticed I ordered the incorrect model, the common grounded one without seperate ground wires. Anyone know the easiest way to run grounds? Thinking I should cut off the ring terminal for ground, solder 3 16 ga wires to the original ground, and solder on a new ring terminal.

I have a white Safari tank on mine too. It is definitely a different shade of white than the white factory plastics. My first choice was tranluscent, but I would have had to wait several more weeks. One good aspect of the white tank is that you can see everything inside the tank when the cap is open.

A little carb cleaner sprayed on a clean cloth works great too.

What's the jacket he's holding? Is it any good? I'm always looking for more good hiviz gear (currently using some BMW mesh thingy that I bought after I bought my GS).

Magic erasers work just as good and NO solvents

Those Mr. Clean Magic Erasers work just as good or better than the solvents like gas, and are good for other cleaning on the bike, they are cheap and work good, even the "generic" versions....

I try to shy away from using gas and stuff like that if I can help it, just for the smell reason alone...

Re mods.

No, didn't get the turn signals from HDB. Should have. Got mine from them from Wheeling Cycle Supply.

Price on all the mods still cheaper than a KTM...and IMHO a better adv bike for all the reasons you all know already.
