Enduro GSXR
Not mine, I just saw it on another forum. Looks awsome!
Might be a tad loud though ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() http://www.motociclismo.it/foto/index.php?album=moto-scooter/Special--Suzuki-GSX-R-1100-off-road Jeez, Id love to do something like this to my FZR600. Not even this extreme, just some longer suspension travel ( I have the front end of an XR650 here ), some wire wheels, and higher clearance. Then I could do it all, sporty riding around the bumpy twisties, a little dirt roads and still take my Mrs on the back! Looks like a LOT of work though Neonasty screwed with this post 07-01-2009 at 06:58 PM |

CBR600F1 rear shock help?
I have an old Hurricane 600 that I am working on for a conversion. I have located some forks from a CR500 that will work in my spare CBR900rr clamp.
HOWEVER.... the rear is a question mark for me. I would prefer to use the OE swingarm/brake/wheel. Does anyone know how the linkage would cross over to another shock. I am not worried about mounting but I know that the linkage the shock uses changes the leverage against it. Is it possible to drop a CR500 shock in there and have it function reasonably ( some fine tuning will be needed regardless ) or will I need to buy the linkage to accompany the shock? I know this is uncharted water but I thought I would throw it out there just in case someone had some knowledge to share. Thanks

Anybody ever done anything similar with a VFR 750 / 800. Would it be feasible to build a single sided swing arm V4 trailie?. Any idea as to which front end off a Honda would fit XRV Varadero ?

His name is Gerry Mayr. He took a old RC24 and replaced a lot of parts with stock XRv750 parts. With this bike he rode from South Africa to Cairo. I talk to him a few years ago but asked for something around 17000 Euro for the old used bike! Then I started the same project myself but had no time to finish it. Maybe next year? You can call Gerry's bike a stronger Africa Twin and thats what I want! I don't need a race bike. Schelbi.

![]() I think it'd look pretty awesome on that thing compared to the yellow one. It's what I'm thinking about for my Ducati build. Acerbis makes them and they're not too pricey. |

pipes
he goes by 'little76midget' on the Evil-bay - he's on the west coast. I ended up putting some baffles in them. Otherwise they were L O U D without the baffles. Sounded great, but I'd hear about it from the neighbors.

I thought it already was a dualsport. Everyone I ran into told me I was taking a street bike offroad, so I guess I post here?
