The new HondaCBR250R is as close as we come to that. I sat on one at the IX Bike Show and would love to own one.

I actually like the 250R better, to be completely honest. It's the exact same styling as the 2011 125R as well. So you might as well just stick with that.

Hello guys. I wonder if I doesn't sell Honda this winter and buy desired XT600 instead, that might alter my CB in the spirit of this theme.
Heart pulls out a little off an asphalt and CB is not very comfortable for such a ride. In addition, its suspension suffer and I'm forced to drive very slow on the gravel and dirt roads.
The former style of my driving is 70% on the asphalt but lately more and more I realize that I like to get off somewhere deep in the countryside.
I would love to hear some of your suggestions and opinions about modifying my Honda (on the image below) :

Obviously, the tires should be changed (Front is 100*19", back is 110*18"), add a skid plate and a straigth wide handlebar with risers.
I would like to know if I may remove the exhaust under the sump and not disturb characteristics of engine.
What you are proposing in order to reduce the total weight of motorcycle? (except swapping aloy wheels with wired ones, it is nearly imposible to me in this moment). removing top case is a must, of course.

That Honda looks like a great platform to convert to a dualsport. If you do it, keep us informed.

I run pretty quick and with, what I feel is, a good amount of control. All I have done is traded tires and adjusted the pre-load on the rear.

I'm not sure how it looks on the outside (DON"T care ) but I have a LOT of fun with it.
