We don't normally create or update user manuals for beta software since it is constantly changing and adapting. If you have any specific questions either I or someone else on this forum can probably provide you with an answer.

Rescue Work

Doing search and rescue has my teams using GPSon a regular basis and I was recently put into a command position tracking search teams. I have always been a devout Mac user but could not find software or even decent maps to use with my Garmin GPS's. Wish I had looked here first, unfortunately just sucked up and go a toshiba with VISTA Bad thing is I had called Garmin Customer Service and they said that they had NO COMPATIBLE SOFTWARE for MAC !!!

A manual? For a Mac?

C'mon, we're Mac users, we can't read... all we need is pretty pictures.

Well, maybe a help file every now and then for the non-Advriders would be nice.

Both my Macbook Pro and Mac Pro came with a one page owners manual... It read... Plug in, turn on, enjoy. I haven't looked at the manual since!

No need to. It sounds like you memorized it.

And maybe implement that in the same way iTunes does, ie: in the left-hand pane, show Bobcat's folders of "playlists" in expandable folders in the top part of the pane.

In the lower part of that pane, have the attached GPS units appear, where they can be browsed, or have items dragged to and from, just like and iPod in iTunes.

+1 I like the sound of that.

Apple probably won't

You only need two tools: WD-40 and Duct Tape.
If it should move but doesn't, use the WD-40.

I've only just found this thread, I'll be downloading Bobcat tonight. It's been a while coming, but I'm pleased to see the speed of Mac development in Garmin now.

Reading through the thread, and looking at a couple of the user-names and avatars, I was thinking - do these guys know this is a bike forum?
