Photo Contest..

I would love to see someone send in a picture good enough to use in a national advertising campaign.. I see quite a few that would win if they were wearing British Motorcycle Gear in the Picture.. Two that stand out Bike Riding into the Ocean and kneeling in front of the Pyramids.. Make sure that the pictures are taken in a format that will transfer to Print advertising.. The pictures on this site are amazing....

Hi Paul,
I've always wanted a Discovery jacket for winters here in NE. Looks like it's only available in black now? Any plan of bringing it back in another color? Perhaps yellowish like in the past?

Thanks,
Jim

Discovery colors

Hi Jim,

We did 100 in the yellow and it took 3 years to sell them. The green sold the best, but the fabric color was discontinued by Dupont... At the moment we are just doing Black with lots of reflective material woven into the fabric.

Adventure Pants

Anyone have any suggestions for the color panels on the Adventure pants we are working on... Would you like to see a stretch black panel at the Knees and in the crotch.. Dark Grey and Black to match jacket in all the palces that will get dirty? What do you think?

I like colors other than black for the majority of the pants, but the stretchy places could be black. Were you thinking dark grey for along the thighs and shins? Will these have vents, or zip off textile patches over mesh or just zipper vents on the pants (if any)?

Cheers!

I think that getting dirty is less of an issue than getting too hot, Paul. If the pants are going to have significant areas of black on them then it would help if the fabric was TFL coated just like a certain other suit....

If not, then I think that the fronts of the thighs should be in the off-white of the Adventure Jacket, since those are the panels which will absorb most heat while riding in sunny climes.

I'd hope that you're able to preserve most of the features of the original Belstaff Adventure Pants. You've seen mine and are probably unaware that I crashed in them while I was riding in the Bay Area. There isn't a mark on either my Adventure Jacket or Pants to witness the fact.

They will have zip vents on them and we won't change much from the Original Adventure pants design other than the color and maybe a pull over gortex liner that does not have to be zipped into the pants at all.. This way they can be put on faster and not violate a certain patten held by Wayne on Zip Out Waterproof liners... Not that BMW has violated this..hhh uumm..

New Belstaff Tourist Trophy Jacket

Just got a sample of one of these from Italy and it is NICE !!!!

They have added full Armor and the finishing work is far and beyond anything you see in the motorcycle indusry.. We may be able to sell these for $595 on our web site... What do you think?
