Sunday/Monday ride up north

So how do people feel about going for a ride Monday? A couple of suggestions include riding around Lake County, along the Fox river valley maybe or around the Lake Geneva/ Kettle Moraine Southern Forest region? There are a decent amount of Rustic Routes in the region, including the appropriately named Snake Rd. along the northern shore of Lake Geneva. It's short but sweet.
I live in the city but can meet people up anywhere.

I like Monday and lake county is easy for me. Question always comes up if my son makes the final day of the soccer tournament--barring that i am in.

That's a good question. Earlier works better for me. If I don't have to worry about the toruney I would like to get riding by 8:00 or so . . . . . .

Pick a rendezvous spot and we'll be there. We're in Joliet, so anywhere in the Northern 'Burbs is cool.

Disclaimer: assuming we get the NachtHawg running right. The safety interlock wiring on that thing's a beeyotch.

How about a toll plaza on I-94 north? The first one past the junction? 9am?

Sounds good to me. Kettle Moraine sounds good for a ride. I'm on a street bike so no dirt for me.

Hey RLucas, I'm looking forward to meeting you for this MotoGP thing. Hope you can get the harness solved.

Junction of what? 94/294 or 294/90/190? (I've lived here for 20 years and I still don't know the local road lexicon...).

How about the Lake forest Oasis?? Although we could meet somewhere on 41 as well--we need a leader don't we?

Sounds good, I think that's the one I was referring to. Just north of the I-94/Rt 41 Junction. What time? I'd like to say 9am, just because I'm not a morning person.

I'm not a morning person either, but would like to ride with you guys. I'll meet up and break off as we get up to WI have some friends that are renting a cabin near Lake Geneva.

Some one duke it out for 8am vs. 9am. I am indifferent as to time as long as I can get a McGriddle inside the oasis...My calorie needs are sky high again because of exercise.
