Should give you a good idea. I know guys have done this on DR's to GS's. I am planning on taking the DR650. You have to have a plate as some of the route is controlled by WI so a dirtbike wont cut it. Also there are some connecting road sections I believe.

If the title says "off road" not a chance, but i believe there is another way . special construction vehicle ring a bell?

I'm in Volo almost every day, I'm in Grayslake. We'll ride this year for sure. Maybe hit of those deserted building sites/subdivisions

I will prob want to stop in a town with beer and bed. Then Sun ride back south to the trailer, load up and drive back to Chicago. This is a test run for hopefully doing the entire ride this summer. Looking for April, most likely early MAY.

Thoughts???

Feel free to post here but PM if you are serious and Ill keep track of everyone, may even start a new thread in the regional site if its a go. We are in the VERY early stages so any input is apprecited.

I would be down for that. I have custody of my daughter every other weekend, so for me the date would decide whether I could make it or not.

Which one of you FF's has your WeeStrom parked on Cornelia between Halstead and Reta in Lakeview?

The cover was blowing off it earlier today when I walked past.

Identify yourself and I might buy you a beer.
