Sunday

The Sprint is only two weeks old and so far I love it. Just had the 600 mile service done on Thursday so I'm ready to stretch its legs a little.

I'll meet you guys up at Full Moon, weather permitting. Fm is on Skokie HWY in Lake Forest, correct?

This rain is rediculous!

Yet I still gear up and head into the thick of it. Anyone else saying f*ck it and riding this monsoon out? Oh, and after this weekend I should have a great writeup on my current gear; Fieldsheer Adventure jacket/pants, Rev'it Apache boots, Tourmaster winter gloves, and my little foggy mask.

I think I could take the xcountry in that muck...maybe after getting a few miles of dry dirt under my belt first! I hate to miss out on the fun. Damn.

Bluhduh re: This rain is rediculous!

I rode in Ike!! (kind of, Ike was pretty tired, traveling all this way)

bartender: I definitely hit that point yesterday, "f-it I am riding into work." Arrived wet and happy (the bottom half of my rain gear is in the mail still). The looks on the faces of all of my co-workers made it all worth it and the ride obviously! Short but sweet, and I felt suprisingly sturdy on the klr in the rain...

I work a lot of Sundays, but one of these days I am going to join y'all at Full Moon for a ride!

Anyone up for a Sunday Ride?

Well, anyone up for a ride Sunday? Weather should be nice, not too many warm days left. Got the Harley all polished and waxed after Ike slapped me around and I'm waiting on Triumph parts. Wisconsin?

I suppose we should see what the flood reports are like though. I know the Edens is still screwed and the Kankakee and Illinois Rivers are going to take more that 10 days before dropping beyond flood stage. What's the word on the Des Plains and Fox rivers?

If anyone is down for doing a fall ride in October, I was thinking of taking a few days off during the week in Oct (13-15 roughly) and heading out either to western WI or southern IN (which one depends on weather and foliage conditions).

Let me see what I can swing on getting vacation days--I have plenty just gotta find a way to use e. But I would be up for such a ride.
