I'm still waiting on if the prior owner is going to warranty the original trans failure.

All joking aside, I'm excited I'll be able to verify\inspect all the nuts n bolts on the inside. Now where did I put my case splitter

Welcome Uska, but no, nothing really close :-( Fox Valley Off Road is about an hour from you and worth the trip, unless you're up for some stealthy ditch banging at "the spot".

woo- nice bike btw

I have a KTM 500 EXC and live in the Chicago. Looking for places to ride offroad. I grew up riding in Michigan and getting back into the sport.

Hey Ryan, since nobody else was cordial enough - welcome to the asylum. I've been here for a little while compared to many and this is how stupid I am, didn't ever notice there was a regional section on ADV until just a couple of weeks ago

I just recently acquired a '00 1150GS after selling a '00 Multistrada 1100 to help fund cataract surgery for our dog. Been riding for about 25 years. I'm on the northwest side too, couple miles due west of Wrigley Field.

Hey Uska I'm in the same boat looking for trails to ride. Located in Joliet by the Chicagoland Speedway.

I have a pipeline right by my house that I ride on now but I'm 50 yrs old and can't stomach running from the Police like I did as a kid. Just doesn't seem right.

Got a TW200 so can't do any slab.

Twenty years or so ago I was able to ride off road from McCook to Lemont barely on pavement between the Sanitary n Shit Canal and the DesPlains River. Are any of these trails still rideable without the hazard of Tree Police? Used to be able to hunt back there in the day too. Dam, how times have changed since I lived in Willow Springs during the early 80's.

Or ask moose to let you ride "his" compound

We lost enough land in Illinois to ride in. Don't ride on property that ain't yours.

Doesn't seem like theres any legal trails available in the burbs. I only have half a saturday and some sundays to ride so ill be looking around for something interesting close around.. Will definately be about that compound property of moose but reading previous posts sounds like that pl is pretty sacred :/

Anyone want to join in this sat for some cruising? im still breaking my bike in so need those miles pretty bad..
I'd love to attend the CDSR meet up this sat but I am busy up till about 1p.m. so it will probably be too late for it?
