Aztalan used to be a gravel pit, there's always rocks popping up.

Any pointers would be appreciated.

If you haven't done so already do some extensive research on knee protection and braces. Braces are meant to support a weakened or injured knee...not protect it. I'd encourage you to consult an MD...someone who has experience with sports knee injuries who can advise you. I'm lucky in that my brother is an MD and he was very helpful. He explained that specialized rigid braces can actually cause or contribute to injuries because they restrict movement. I'm 61 years old and my knees are in great shape (knock on wood.....the rest of me is shot but, that's for another discussion)...When riding or racing I wear an elastic over the counter velcro closure ACE brace that stabilizes the knee cap with standard Moose knee/shin guards. Been working fine for me...Don't take my word...do some research and talk with a Doc you trust.

PS...add this to your vocabulary (and medicine cabinet): Glucosimine.

It stalls a lot easier than my WR. Feels about 50# lighter. Bars were a bit bent and all I had were some ATV High bars. Doesn't actually feel too bad. Size wise, the bike feels like a 125. Should be very potent in the races.

A modern 450 mx bike will get the job done, light, fast and easy to ride.
