Jerry, I've heard those tires referred to as "terror-flexes" because the sidewall is so stiff that they are almost impossible to remove, with tire spoons, by hand. YMMV. The Dunlop 908 Rally Raid (which appears to be the tire on the back wheel of your KaTooM) is, supposedly, very good. Again, YMMV.

Well according to Mr. KTM, the 908 is a pilke of shite and will most certainly kill me from the dreaded death wobble, myself, I'm a Michelin Man, have them on all my bikes, so will the 990 shortly.

Took my 908's off with 200 miles on them and gave them away for free!

Im also thinking maybe toss the side stand, I always worry about it dropping down during a rough ride

I look at it like this, CJ's kick stand relocator is 155.00, it's made from 1/4" crs stock, it's heavy, I have a ceter stand already and it's easy to use, why spend money to make my bike heavier?

One look at the plate in that guys leg from having his kick stand deploy at the wrong time is enough proof for me, I'm buying the switch eliminator tonight and removing the side stand.

Ride behind one on a big bike and you'll truly understand why they call them Terror Flexes. This fucker will throw medium size boulders.

You'll definitely need to pull on your big boy pants to swap them in or out.

But, I think Jerry has a machine. No?

Not really, I've never had a problem. It's just that these big girls get beaten and ridden hard.
