![]() But, joking aside, there are some good quality pics here - but take a look at the opening pages - and the earlier pages of this thread...

there are alot of snap shots there to. Not everyone can take a good photo or tell good from average (myself included), but that should not stop them from posting of nominating.
This is not my thread to make rules, but it is one of my favs to come look at. A couple of things that might make it more enjoyable for me are: -do post your best photo or two from your ride. Do post the others in ride reports. Editing is at least as important as taking a good photo. -for every photo you post, try to find at least one that is not yours to nominate -it's nice when the photos posted in this thread are clearly motorcycle AND adventure related Oh...thanks for all the great pictures, this thread usally means at least one smile a day and as many dreams for my next ride.

By edititing I mean choosing what not to show, and only picking the best of the best.
Having said that retouching and manipulating can make what seems like an average pic into something really special. Try www.dgrin.com for ideas and techniques. You might recognize the format and some of the folks over there.

I'm not a big enthusiast of self promotion - and this isn't what I'm thinking of here. There's a lot of great shots in this thread - but this one [ironically of mine] was emailed to me tonight by another rider who didn't know who I was - while I'm on the road traveling. What's the odds?
Pretty much just screams for the wide open landscape of Baja at 100 MPH. I live for this landscape and a dirtbike. I took this one without stopping with my throttle hand......a trick I learned from lasvegasrider.....![]() I think I'm going back to Baja soon....
