+1 for front page

In my opinion, this is easily front page material. Love the composition. It doesn't look like the picture came through. I'm talking about post #7276.

Yeah, I was trying to figure out how he was going to handle the "uphill" side from there, I dont see any tow line from the other side???? How ever he deals with it, great pic, front page material for sure.

Looks like the line is high on the near side and low on the far side.
There's probably another line set up high on the far side and low on the near side for the return trip.

Looking at the geometry of the cable, I'm guessing it touches him down right by the water and he rides up that road on the other side. There appears to be another cable between his and the top of the photo, so I'd agree with ZukiNoomin about the return trip. Definitely makes me appreciate all of these fancy bridges we have here.

Yeah there was also a return cable which ended up right down on the river side (on the side we started at).

The local guy strapped up the bike, hopped on it and then pushed it up the far side, before returning on the 2nd zip line and doing the same with our second bike.

Then at the end, three of us (riding buddy, 'zip line master' and me) had to jump on the zip line to get to our bikes on the far side. That was quite a moment; Stepping off the ledge, hoping that your grip on the little piece of spare rope was good and then suddenly finding yourself whizzing over a river, hanging on for dear life with 2 other people struggling to do the same... just thinking about it makes me grin like a lunatic.

When I get time, I'll upload the video of our first bike zipping across... its mad!

Photoshopped my bum ya!! LOL!

Yo Jamie buddy!! Thanks for posting it!

I would be the ridding buddy of Jamie here, the one who shot the picture.

I had sent this picture to the admin of Advrider back a few months ago while on the road (just got home to Canada a little over 1 month ago). Never got feedback from them and not having the time to push for it, kinda let it go back then. Thanks to Jamie here for sharing it again

Of course, this shot gets my vote for a front pager.... as I had wanted a few months ago

Let's see the pic of the 3 of you hanging off the line. That would be a good one for sure.

Yeah I'll say! I wanted to take a snap but you know.... it was either the camera, or the wire to hold on to...
