Sure. And yes, I know a few of the 66 photos on the front page are bikes without luggage.. but lets face it.. this site isnt a sport touring site about riding roads I can drive with a fiesta, or about tooling around in your backyard for the day then going home.. this site is about adventure motorcycle touring; packing your bike and taking a trail less traveled to a great destination.

I dont think im too far off base here.

This discussion has been had many times in this thread. I completely agree with you. That said, let's just let this one lie.

Adventure is just discomfort plus attitude, so in that case adventure could be considered sitting on my plank-of-wood KLR seat for a ride in downtown DC .

We all of our own opinions, no need to get into it in this beautiful thread.

Yup we do this every other weekend or so. Riding about 100+ km in & out of Malaysian jungles, sans camping equipment, sans pit crew, sans umbrella girls. We buy gas from isolated villages along the way. Just bring along some basic 1st aid kit, a tool pouch, a decent sized hydration backpack & lots & lots of spare tyre tubes.......

Thanks for the info ... poor Sete... Valentino destroyed his confidence on track and off the track as well, when he stated 'Sete will never win a GP ever again as long as I race' .. and he never did.
