Only damage was to me, where he got my thigh with his right tusk. I'll survive - it didn't penetrate. I just had dinner with an American veterinarian Professor .... she says I'm the luckiest man she knows.

I had a similar experience with a Buffalo in Custer State Park. It's amazing to see how fast those things can go from a dead stop to in your face.
