I wasn't going to say anything, but I kinda concur, its too saturated, and the edge contrast has been cranked a bit too hard, so it has a bit of that cartoony HDR look. some people seem to like that look.

I agree, looks like vomit-vision on my color calibrated monitor.
Often I think people play with their sliders without realizing that maybe their display is under-saturated or low contrast. Or perhaps the poster just likes the look, though I wouldn't have mentioned anything it could be they don't know it looks way over-saturated to others.

my boss refers to that overly saturated look as 'angry fruit salad' :)
