Anyone local(ish) be willing to help me check the valves on my DRZ sometime in the next few months? Im a fulltime mechanic so I have good automotive knowledge but motos are a whole different story. I jst dont want to get in there and end up with a non running/damaged bike. Let me know. Thanks!

Checking valve clearance is easy as pie, you'll be fine, especially with your background.

As Trackhead said, it's pretty easy. I've done DRZ valve a bunch and even have shims. You're welcome to bring it to my place and we'll get it done quickly.

Anyone want to hang out this Thursday night at my place, work on bikes and just BS? All are welcome. Let me know if you want to come over and I'll PM my address. I'm guessing about 8:00.

No, but I saved the last little bit of cactus I just dug out of my arm from Baja. You are welcome to that.
