You could just drop it at the shop and ride one of other 30 bikes you have :)

Why I outta.....

Anyway as I recall I left off with restraining order be damned Ryman dumpster diving with the locals.
From there we were heading to the shore of Lake Powell.

To get to the camp site all you have to do is beat sand mountain. To show the Tenere how easy
it is Kev gave a simple demonstration. I had stopped and forgot to turn the traction control off.
Half way up I need power that the TC says "nope". Stopped mid hill, turned the TC off and the
Beast continued on. Kinda to my surprise.

Sand that even made the Tenere Teasers nervous had us camp just off shore. It was fine because
the bank would have been a weird sleeping angle.

If you look between the bikes you will see this....
I knew I was the odd man out the whole ride.

We enjoyed a scenic evening bath in the lake.

I had no idea the boys had worked themselves into a frenzy over the thought of fresh clean meat.

One display of who they were messing with put an end to their plans.

I had a picture of what desperate men they had become but Kevin, in complete disrespect of the
don't mess with a mans memory stick rule, deleted the R rated photo. It would have made perfectly
clear what we have suspected all along.

Okay, for whatever reason my photos got loaded on the computer out of order
and some seem missingI don't have the time to dick with it.

Not that anyone would really want to see it anyway, Ryan woke up quite sick.
No wheelies, no shit flipping he was a green little puppy. Picture this,
we think because of this .

Heading to the mesa switchbacks

A thing of beauty and a joy forever.... oh yeah, there's Lake Powell and some scenery too.

Utbdr

Tomorrow a small group of us are headed to the Overland Expo event at Mormon Lake, AZ. The plan is to ride the UTBDR from Strawberry (meeting in PC) to the AZ border. We have a mix of 800GS and KTM 990's. Has anyone rode this section, if so how long did it take?

Fuck the fucking fuckers! Pissed that Farmington is still closed too.

I've been doing some recon up that way lately, checking out the trails that they have made hard to reach to the south of B, might have to do some xpolrin up there :).

Where is bountiful cave BTW?

I was up there about 2 weeks ago and saw that it was open. I thought it was odd to be open so soon with how much runoff was going down at the time. We looked around and the gate was gone....missing. I bet some ass clown cut the gate down and the forest service followed with a permanent close on it. Some asshole fucked it up for everone else.

Hobble Creek

Hobble Creek and the Center Trail system are clear of snow - and deadfall!

Harcus and I rode Sunday the 6th. The previous day, my paley Joe had burnt 2 1/2 tanks of chainsaw gas clearing deadfall. Thanks Joe!!

Here's Harcus, happily sneakin up through the nasty on his 5hunny. Piece of cake!

Sixth Water / Strawberry tunnel portal. It aint Powell, but it's kinda beachy. No we didn't dip. Y'know why? Harcus and I were pissing off the high concrete portal abutment and Harcus said 'oooowee that water's cold!!'. And I said 'And it's deep too!'.

Nice weather and happy trails!
