Couldn't be.......or maybe you're an engineer.....and susceptible to inadequacies..........

I'm also hoping to do a 2 or 3 day before them a little more tour-ADV like, perhaps something starting north around the lake and down to Pony Express or something like that. Long easy flat miles but hopefully some decent sweepy single track. Keep you guys posted on that as well...

KTM should be back running in just a day or two as soon as the new cables show up. Excited to see how this new Gen III 41mm works in real life on the old '02...
I will be back in Utardia Sep 9th-ish. Other than riding with Ryman, I have nothing planned and should be around for about 10 days.

Cool, I need to be back in Lubbuttock by the 20th. Do you wanna head somewhere special, or just ride around Venereal? I told my folks I would spend some time with them, so I need to make an appearance either way.

Cool... I'll reach out to both of your info (email and phone), that would be fun. And maybe we're doing a decent job of finding a good target date for such a trip...

This Weekend

Looks like I have the hall pass, and am planning to ride at least one day this weekend. Thinking either Uintas dirt or west desert, let me know if anyone is interested/wants to ride...

Never at a computer so always following this thread 3-5 days behind, relegated to forever a lurker..... Anyway, thought I finally jump on and say hey,

Ryman, I'm never around on the weekends, if the occasional weekend off comes up I'll hit you up for a (pedal) ride. Always looking for someone else to ride with.

Trackman, see above! 43 5 NineOhOne zEro1ThreeOne if your ever looking for company....err someone to ride with!

dieselcruiserhead, Still haven't been able to line up our schedules to meet up for a ride, sorry. Glad to hear the bike is nowhere near in the condition you feared. I just swapped out my rekluse for the OEM in the 525 so I may have one for sale here shortly. I want a few runs with the OEM to commit to selling it. That being said, bike is almost back together (cue Pluric...) and hoping to get a trackday or wasatch run in soon. I have a few good blocks of days off for Sept. I be down for joining this motley crew for a multi day trip if the days line up.

Would this be a leisuerly jaunt or a balls to the wall run?
I might be able to swing it, It would be my first real dirt road travel, So I would be looking for a slower pace, Just curious.
Thanks

I was up there with my little guy a couple days ago. Fun place. Even better in winter.

I have it starting. Waiting on the late model boot and cables to mod this later carb to the '02. Initially it already seems way faster of a snap off rev than the old '02 carb. I just hope it runs well once its on and running and no issues, otherwise it will go off for a rebuilt likely from http://www.djhcyclesport.com/

I met Mike, and talked to Frog a bunch and its pretty awesome, ADV guys and guys on this board are so awesome and so down to earth...
Glad to hear it is going to work for you. If it doesn't, then you never met me ;)

Seriously though, happy to help. It was a win win. You were helping Josh get to Germany to compete for the U.S., and you get your bike back in running order.

See you on the trails.
