It's official. Bought the KTM 520 for essentially the same price I got for the BRP. Hate to see it go, but don't mind the new bling in the barn. BRP sold in 2 days for ~$3k. I gave that thing away at that price w/ all the farkles, but that's a winter sell i guess.

[QUOTE=pluric;20019055]Or just look on the side of the road. They threw a rod in the Best of the West race (Vegas to Reno), but the buggie is reworked and running well.
Pluric, I still want to test pilot that S10. It's supposed to get over 50 this week--I'll call you. |

And how hypocritical is this guy; standing on the East Bench, in front of a multi-million dollar home, giving an interview about protecting Utah's public land? Wasn't there a time, before land developers got ahold of it, when one could access the Wasatch Mountains from the East Bench? I'll go on record saying I support governed multi-use on all public land, except BLM. BLM should still be a free-for all.

canyonlands national monument
A guy I ride with is the marketing head of one of those companies and probably signed it. It must have been some sort of serious internal pressure within the community. The crazy part is these people don't even really know what a national monument is, and all the restrictions it has. So it's definitely bad... I just wish there was some sort of way to compromise on oil and gas as this area isn't even that well sought after, as I understand it, and there are ways to do clean drilling etc that doesn't carve it all up and ruin it. I personally don't think the roads in that area are an issue.
I would all urge us to write nice, politely worded and not full of retarded political rhetoric to the Obama administration. They actually have staffers that read this stuff. Mine will begin with "I am an environmentalist, but" (which is mostly the case)
