If you got your own sled to get your gear there I'm game. I would bring some skis and trade laps all day. My sled is a powder machine and no good for two up unless its a real short run.

The issue w/ the new ride very well could be that it was out of gas...

Not sure though, but i was swapping the stock tank for a monster 6.6 today, and changing the petcocks was a surprise!! You can ride 100 miles on reserve on a ktm! that petcock filter thingy is about 5 inches tall! not so on the xr.

anyway, tis' the season to get ready for the season... tralla lalla la, scoping out the Book Cliff ridge from East Carbon to Green River alllla la laaaa.... beta on the drop to off the ridge to "Woodside"?

(check out that rd along the ridge. it looks dicey dropping out to woodside in google earth, so it could go or could be a backtrack. this is #1 on my hit list) provided i can start my bike!

Sledding-- Had 3-4 feet of new powder yesterday.Did not see any other tracks the whole day. 525 Jetting-- The jd kit works good but it is much cheaper to use an stock 06 450 YZ needle for higher altitudes or a 07 450 YZ needle which is a half clip richer for lower altitudes.Also a Honda diaphram squirts less and works better in the dirt.

Yup, it sucked. I would much rather be shoveling snow off of my driveway but I did that on Saturday so what do you do.
