Anybody want to ride some rough trail on the piute atv area this weekend? Around Richfield preferably sunday, but could do saturday. I'm on a little 2-fiddy smoker with a 4 gal tank, can go a ways. PM if your interested

After finally replacing my swing arm I'd been itching to hit the trail on the crf, regular partner was MIA on a family bike trip so I rallied solo. Did a quick 95 mile loop on Saturday, a few highlights

the new ford in Fuller Bottom is like childs play, the San Rafael trickle seen here

Looking over Salt Wash in the NW part

Abandoned WR in coal wash with empty fuel can nearby, looked like it had been there a day or two...

This part of the South Fork of Coal Wash is in the WSA and off limits, but it seems a few are trying to wreck this place for all of us - From the Eva Connover trail above

One more from Eva

and the obligatory shot from Eagle Canyon...heat wasn't too bad depending on the angle of my right wrist...

Looking forward to getting out again soon!

Was a fun ride Sunday with KMC1. Always good to have 2 Kevins on a ride.

There were about 50,000 people up BCC, but very few out on the Midway trails. Some pretty views of the Heber valley from up there.

Speaking of tickets...... The 950SM is a magnet for them as well.

Here's me in the parking lot of my office this morning. Note the undercover Escalade (not something I was expecting).

Nice thing about being pulled over at work is someone always has a camera phone handy.

Kevin up in woodland.. Great ride, this is about 15 minutes before he pulled me out of snow attempting the top of Little South Fork. Snow was much completely melted out and passable other than some of the deep woods higher elevation single track, such as the top of little south fork which I shouldn't have even attempted.... It was pretty wet and the rivers and streams were roaring with all of the snow melt. Nothing too bad / no wet feet despite some reasonably deep crossings and tons of water all over the place..

stuck!

Thanks for the report. I went up there two weeks ago and couldn't get to the trailhead because of snow. Psyched to have my evening riding area open.
