Have a GREAT Father's day!
Great Father's Day ride. Hit dirt at Mill Hollow and rode to Hanna (enjoyed lunch at the diner) taking every obscure trail/road we could find. Riding over Red Mountain on the return was a blast although one section was covered in deep snow, not passable, so we had to change course and ended up on the return trip at Currant Creek Reservoir.

Did you start in Australia and end up in Utah??

That's a long ride!

UtBDR

The Walrus n I have a vision to ride the UtBDR starting next Tuesday.

The link...http://www.backcountrydiscoveryroutes.com/UTBDR

Since we are "purists" the plan is to ride it as it is planned. We will ride to the Az border on Tuesday - unavoidable - camp over a nite & proceed to trek northward.

I have ridden pieces of the route but not all & I see this as a good chance to fill in some gaps in my bucket list.

Should be about 5 days back, who knows. I am taking the trusty 990. Is due for some more abuse....and so am I.

The biggest issue may be the fires down south...

http://www.utahfireinfo.gov/

After last years fire issues on a ride in Idaho I am beginning to think it may be of concern. Time will tell.

There is still time to come along with us. Get your ticket now ! You really don't want to work next week anyway, do you?

Pretty sure thats Yogoi in front. Looks like he's riding fast but far from out of control. The rear end kick out is every riders nightmare. Fast rode then all of a sudden you are looking at the rear wheel next to you.

I've always had a trick to avoid looking like such a novice and having my arse kick out all over. you just twist your right hand really far forward. Most these guys on this forum don't quite get it...

Mad respect / sick riding... Forwarded the vid to a good buddy as soon as I saw it. Single track in Logan looks awesome!

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk, hence the typos...

Did a quick 80 miles of dirt road power sliding on the se this morning. Was home by 7:30am. A little chilly but nobody was around. :)

Then had my pit crew wash my bike. Yes that's how I roll.... I wish, this was a first.
