Did a quick 80 miles of dirt road power sliding on the se this morning. Was home by 7:30am. A little chilly but nobody was around. :)

Then had my pit crew wash my bike. Yes that's how I roll.... I wish, this was a first.

looking for a riding partner

I looking for a partner to do a 5 day ride leaving the 5 of July. Idaho or Montana or where ever the roads leads.

I am on a 950 SE and go light. I like as much dirt as I can get. Camping out. Sleeping in the dirt.

Notar and I think we need some more bruises on our body--so we're off to AF. Say howdy if you see a black KTM four fiddy, and orange 525. We'll also be based out of a blue FJ cruiser

No creepier than my pick up line:

If you went camping and woke up grass stains on your knees and your keys in your ass, would you tell anyone?

Nope?

Wanna go camping?

Have fun Buuurrrt. The SE is the perfect ADV machine, IMO.

On another note, My 9-year old daughter and I rode to Austin this weekend.

We were over 7 hours on the bike, and almost 400 miles, in West-Texas crosswinds, riding the Super Enduro. It was so hot, it melted my drybag! I have ridden with that bag numerous times in the same location, and never had it melt!

She complained much less than Pluric when he is riding bitch.

Without a doubt, one of the most gratifying days on a bike ever.

I rode back yesterday, one of the first long days on slab on the SE. I have 13K miles on the bike now, and have never ridden more than a couple hours of slab in a day. Anyway, with road shoes and an Airhawk, the SE was amazingly comfy and cruised all day at 80-90mph. I even found some county roads to ride on.

I'm with ya Kev!

Had a great time riding with my wife today. Got to mix it up with a newer model WRX. Think we surprised him a bit. He would pull slightly away in the straights, but we always caught him in the corners... my wife is an awesome pedal draggin' passenger!!

Everbody know where this is.

We went up to make out point, but it was too crowded:

New Moto law!

http://www.ksl.com/?sid=25189591&nid=148

Moto's and bicycles can now blow a red light for turning left if you wait 90 seconds first. The traffic lights don't see you're there, so blow that light!

Last Wednesday I took the South Canyon Rd (I think that's what it's called) between Avon and Eden. It was around midnight as I worked my way up into the mountain. It was cold, but the road is in great shape.

I was imagining coming around a corner and bumping into a bear or mountain lion or moose so I was taking it easy. I came around the corner and saw what I thought was a bear cub in the road. As I got closer it bounded off to the side of the road and into the brush. As soon as it started moving I realized it wasn't a bear. I thought maybe it was a raccoon, but right as I passed it I could see that it wasn't a raccoon either.

After I got home I got online to remind myself what wolverines and other predators around that size look like. I'm 98 percent sure it was a wolverine.

Im not sure what bike Im using for the rally. Either my 06 525 baja race bike or 10 530xcw. I've learned my lesson about racing the 950. I love the bike but they dont crash well and with tires at $200 each they are very expensive to race.

I need to figure it out soon and learn how to navigate via roadbook or Ill be spending a lot of time wandering around in the baja desert.
