Bitches,

I have the 16th through the 24th off and want to go for a little murder-sickle ride.

Is anyone available for a ride in AZ or Southern UT? I would probably bring the 500.

Looks like a court has blocked the BLM field plan for the Richfield office citing it as taking president of OHV access over other priorities. We'll have to see what areas are affected. Most of the trails are established routes so it shouldn't be that dramatic. But nevertheless this is a clear impact to the motorized community..

Federal judge rules no off-road vehicles on Richfield BLM lands

Blue Ribbon Released this press release this morning. Pretty unfortunate. Here is the release. These are some of the areas that include Skyline Trail in western swell, down to and west and south of Hanksville.

You need to hang out in the Beasts forum more. Speculation has been going on for
quite a while.

To answer your question, show me the shaft drive.

I owned a Strom for 8 years. The Tenere made me forget it faster than a KTM
water pump failure.

old Strom 1000. I know it costs more and the Strom was a great bang for
the buck bike. The Tenere is just better in every aspect. I do admit to me
the ECU reflash is a must. Total game changer in the performance end.

Stock to stock performance is similar.

The ergos are more comfortable on the Tenere. The suspension is better
and I really like a shaft drive. Off road it is heavy but has surprised me where
it's willing to go. I follow the Tenere threads and web sites. I'm not aware of
a documented failure. Mine has had a fork seal leak and the rims have bent
to the point I replaced the rear with a Woody's set up. Others have had the
headlight harness melt, fork seals and rear hub seals leak.

The 2014 model will be available with cruise control and electronic suspension
adjustment, heated grips, gear indicator.....

My Strom served it's purpose fine. Was dependable and for the money hard to
beat. Just that for a little more money....

You are going to blame the Tenere on making you forget? I like it!

As always, KTM’s Power Parts accessory division has a large selection of bolt-on products to enhance functionality, protect and personalize the 1190 Adventure R, which is a lot of motorcycle for $16,799. BMW’s standard R1200GS starts at $15,800, but that’s a base model that most dealers don’t even order. And we’re still waiting to see what premium BMW puts on its upcoming Adventure version. As for the rest, the KTM undercuts the Triumph Explorer XC and Ducati Multistrada, while also being only $2000 more than Yamaha’s more street-oriented Super Ténéré.

Depending on the weather, location, etc, this could work. Stay tuned as we sneak up on the turkey. We have not seen you abuse the 500 up close. That could be entertaining. Maybe the Green River area?
